The Seeker in the Ceiling and other creatures

I'm in a bit of a slump right now as far as animation is concerned, so I've been doing more drawings lately. Check them out!

I'll be posting artwork somewhat regularly now, probably even once I get started with a new short film again. Hard to overstate the satisfaction of getting something done within hours or days, rather than weeks or months.

I totally see where you're coming from. You do get more dopamine fixes when you finish more stuff quicker. On the other hand I always find it immensely satisfying when I finish a big project. So I try to jump back and forth between shorter and longer projects Becaue it feels like a nice balance.

Jumping between shorter and longer projects is pretty much what I'm trying to do now :) In hindsight I guess focusing solely on larger projects is part of what caused my decade long hiatus. Since I couldn't find myself a large project to work on I stopped creating altogether. Now, working on drawings the commitment feels much less heavier. Worst case it's good practice and I end up with a couple of weird ass drawings. Best case it kept the flame going for the next big project.

Awesome stuff!
