Something that has been on my mind for quite a while now. Actually the basic idea developed during working on "Lifeblood Colors". Anyways. Thank you Mr. Reznor for making such wonderful music. I wouldn't have been able to capture these hazy-melancholic sunday afternoon feelings without it.

Alrighty, instead of just copypasting the authors comments: after months of lazyness I've finally managed to make a new Flash. In my case this lazyness is a case of burn-out as far as Flash-work is concerned. I guess I've slightly recovered as far as creativity goes, but this new movie of mine describes the situation I've been in lately fairly well. And as it seems, it sounds familiar to other people that create stuff as well - may it be drawings, music or whatever.
Either way, I hope you'll enjoy this little something.

I finally managed to finish my latest animation. It's about... well... an everyday situation that you all surely are familiar with. Kind of. Probably not.
Either way, it's been really fun to make. I hope you'll enjoy it as well ;)

Here it is, my latest animation. Once again rather experimental, but i just really enjoy making these :)
In other news, here's a short film me and bunch of colleagues made for university, about half a year ago:
"Watching Television"
But there's more! Me and a friend started a VJ project called Figment. I've been interested in performing live visuals for quite a while and now I finally found someone to team up with ;)
Our first public performance will probably be at the Melting Pot in St Poelten, Austria. Which will probably not matter for about 99.99% of NG's visitors. Either way, for the very unlikely case that you're from Austria, be so kind and visit the Melting Pot homepage and vote for Figment as Visual Artist! It won't matter much since probably all 3 VJs will perform, then again, it's about HONOUR! And while you're at it, feel free to also drop a vote for my friends from Trashcanned (Live Bands) and Freibier (specials)
Anything else to say? Ah, yes. The t-shirts for the MINDistortion contest winners have been shipped. But I already notified them anyways, so posting it here is rather pointless. Why do it then? Because I can.

About 3 years ago I made a simple game about living the innocent life of a Bubble.
Now it's sequel time and here it is: Bubbles 2
With twice as many power-ups as the original game and a physics based 2 Player modus. For players on MINDistortion.tv there's also the SugarRush mode available which will give you a power-up overload :)
On a further note, one kid once left a review for Bubbles complaining about the Bubble not even being able to shoot and stuff. Guess what. There's a new power-up to take care of these needs as well. See? I care about your reviews ;)

Congrats to the winners and thanks a lot to everyone who participated! :)
God's away, God's away, God's away on business...

In other news, I made some music. Not the good sort of music. But that won't stop me from messing around with people's ears. The two tracks can be found on my alternate account heritek.newgrounds.com
Also, I've jumped on the draw-yourself-NG-staff-style bandwagon.
And at last but not least, I just can't resist using the post mood emoticons.

One of my illustrations got licensed as cover art for the recently published book "The Sabotage Cafe" by Joshua Furst. The cover is based on a stencil graffiti portrait I made of Tina, who once used to be my girlfriend. She also played the leading role in the recently released first music video from my friends of the band Trashcanned.
In other news, I fixed and improved Animotion! Now you can directly link to your Animotion sequences. Victory Dance!
MINDistortion is back at last, however now under the domain MINDistortion.tv. To learn what exactly had happened, please refer to my news post "The MINDistortion Situation". It's a sad and complicated matter.
You might still stumble over occasional missing pages on the site, but I managed to get most things up and running again. Everything else will follow, but I wanted to get the site back online as soon as the most important parts of the site have been restored.
Some of you might notice that a lot of posts in the MINDistortion forum have been lost. The last backup was from January, so some people might have to re-register their forum accounts. Same thing for Iwantyoursoul, just that the last backup was EVEN older. Don't ask. I could have sworn I had a newer backup.
Alright, that's it for now. More news will follow. Spread the word that MINDistortion has returned as MINDistortion.tv!
